RV Site Snag privacy policy

This policy explains how the RV Site Snag app for iPhone and Android handles your information. RV Site Snag is published by Wanderhaus Media LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”). Our website has its own privacy policy.

The short version

RV Site Snag does not collect, store or share any personal data. Everything you enter stays on your phone.

What the app stores on your phone

The membership level, parks, dates, trips and Florida Shuffle plans you enter, and your reminder settings. This information is saved only on your phone. It is never sent to us, to a server, or to anyone else, and we cannot see it.

If you back up your phone (for example iCloud Backup on iPhone, or Google backup on Android), that backup can include the app’s data, the same as other apps. Apple or Google handles the backup under your account and their privacy policies; we cannot access it.

What the app does not do

RV Site Snag has no accounts or sign-in, does not access your location, contacts, photos or files, shows no ads, and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. It contains no analytics, advertising or other third-party code. The Android app does not even have permission to use the internet.

Permissions the app asks for

• Notifications (iPhone and Android), to remind you before and when booking opens.
• Alarms & reminders (Android only, optional), so reminders arrive at the exact minute booking opens instead of a few minutes late.
• Run at startup (Android only), so your reminders are set again after your phone restarts. The app does nothing else at startup.

Notifications

Booking reminders are local notifications created and scheduled on your phone. They are not sent through our servers. You can turn them off at any time: on iPhone in Settings, then Notifications, then RV Site Snag; on Android in Settings, then Apps, then RV Site Snag, then Notifications.

Adding dates to your calendar

If you choose to add a booking date to your calendar, the app opens your calendar’s new-event screen with the details filled in, and you decide whether to save it. The app does not read your calendar. If you choose Google Calendar, or your Android phone has no calendar app, the event opens in Google Calendar under Google’s privacy policy.

Purchases

RV Site Snag is a one-time purchase made through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google processes the payment, and we never receive your payment details. Their privacy policies cover that transaction: Apple’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy.

Crash reports from Apple and Google

If you have chosen to share analytics or usage and diagnostics with app developers in your phone’s settings, Apple or Google may send us anonymous crash and performance reports. These do not identify you, and we use them only to fix problems in the app. You can turn this off on iPhone in Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Analytics & Improvements, and on Android in your phone’s Google settings under usage and diagnostics.

If you contact us

If you email us or use our contact form for support, we receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to write. We use it only to answer you, we don’t sell or share it, and we delete it when it’s no longer needed to help you. You can ask us to delete it sooner.

Sharing and selling

We do not sell, rent or share personal information with anyone, because the app does not collect any.

Deleting your data

Delete the app and everything it stored is removed from your phone. On Android you can also clear it without uninstalling: Settings, then Apps, then RV Site Snag, then Storage, then Clear storage. Because we hold no app data about you, there is nothing for us to delete on our side. To delete a support conversation, email us.

Children

RV Site Snag is not directed to children under 13, and it does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles information, we will update this page and the effective date above before the change takes effect.
