FreezeAhead terms of use
Effective October 31, 2026
These terms apply to the FreezeAhead app for iPhone and Android, published by Wanderhaus Media LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using FreezeAhead you agree to them. They add to the terms of the store you got the app from: on iPhone, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement; on Android, the Google Play Terms of Service.
What FreezeAhead is, and isn’t
FreezeAhead sends reminders based on public weather forecasts from the National Weather Service. It is a planning aid. It doesn’t measure temperatures at your RV, home or equipment, it doesn’t monitor or control anything, and it isn’t an emergency or warning service.
Forecasts can be wrong
- Forecasts are estimates and can change or be wrong. Your exact spot can be colder than forecast, especially in valleys, at higher elevation, near water, or on clear, still nights.
- Alerts depend on your phone. They can be delayed, silenced or blocked by notification settings, Focus or Do Not Disturb modes, battery savers, a dead battery, no signal, an out-of-date forecast, or the phone’s operating system.
- National Weather Service forecasts can be unavailable at times.
You’re responsible for your equipment
You’re responsible for deciding when and how to protect your water lines, tanks, hoses and equipment, whether or not FreezeAhead sends an alert. Don’t rely on FreezeAhead as your only way of knowing when it will freeze.
No warranty
To the extent the law allows, FreezeAhead and its forecasts are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including that the app or the forecasts will be accurate, timely, uninterrupted or error free.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, Wanderhaus Media LLC isn’t liable for any damage or loss, including frozen or burst pipes, water damage, damage to equipment or property, or any indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of FreezeAhead or from a missing, late or inaccurate alert. If we are found liable anyway, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app.
Weather data
Forecast data comes from the NOAA National Weather Service. FreezeAhead isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by NOAA or the National Weather Service, Apple or Google.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date above shows the latest version. If you keep using FreezeAhead after a change, the updated terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, except where the law where you live says otherwise.
